What we do

Regulatory change and implementation of new regulatory requirements

We support clients by providing subject matter expert advice to project teams with the design and implementation of changes to regulatory requirements (e.g. BEAR/FAR changes, new Credit Risk Capital Requirements, new APS 220 Credit Risk Management, new APS 222 Associations with Related Entities).

Rhizome is supporting clients with CPS 230 implementation including designing approaches to identify critical operations and setting tolerance levels, identification of material service providers and approaches for management of these parties, providing resourcing for implementation of the program requirements, design and uplift of existing operational risk management frameworks / policies, and independent assurance of design and implementation of changes against APRA’s regulatory requirements and expectations.

Independent reviews and assurance

Rhizome undertakes numerous independent reviews as required in APRA’s prudential standards. These include comprehensive risk management framework reviews (as required in CPS 220 and SPS 220), APS 110 ICAAP reviews, APS 220 credit risk management framework reviews and APS 210 liquidity risk management framework reviews.

Rhizome also undertakes tripartite, root cause analysis and other independent reviews commissioned to meet regulatory requirements.

Regulatory engagement and aprovals

Rhizome also support our clients with the strategy and content of engaging with APRA including notification, responses to request for information and general ongoing interactions. This ranges across numerous activities including regulatory approvals, regulatory reporting and preparing for, and responding to, regulatory reviews.
